Tournaments at HighPockets

We offer both 8 and 9 ball tournaments, on both 7′ and 9′ tables, ensuring that everyone can find a tournament that’s right for them. Most tournaments have added money and either players auctions or side-pots, making them a must-attend for serious pool players. So if you’re looking for a chance to test your skills and compete against other great players, come check out our pool tournaments!

Thursday Night 9Ball

For more than 30 years, HighPockets Thursday Night Handicapped 9-ball tournament has drawn players from all over!

  • Played on Gold Crown 9′ tables
  • $10 Entry fee + $5 Green fee
  • $100 added for every 16 players!
  • Tournament starts at 7:30pm
  • Winners qualify for the annual King of the Hill tournament

Arrive early for free practice and don’t forget to support the bar & grill!
New Break Contest!
Each week, a tournament participant is randomly drawn to attempt breaking & running a rack of 9ball. Each ball is worth $10 and you shoot ’til you miss. 
If you’ve never played in this tournament, you MUST arrive early and allow the tournament director to set your handicap.

Whether you prefer to play solo or with a team, we have events that will suit your style. Our tournaments are a great way to test your abilities, meet new people, and have fun in a competitive setting.

Entry fees vary for each event.
Handicaps are set by the tournament director and are final.

League Tournaments

The Memphis APA holds several singles, doubles and team tournaments throughout the year at HighPockets, including the annual Shoot For The Cure tournament, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
To participate in APA events, you must be a current APA member with an established handicap.
